Plan Angel once found was conceived when three friends put their heads together to found a non-profit organisation to stand for human rights. Marcia, Luis Carlos and Yajaira all share the same passion: standing up for human rights. The name Angel stands for positivity and realisation. Plan Angel stands for the big plan they have all put effort into. Since Marcia, Luis Carlos and Yajaira all have roots in Colombia we have chosen the colours of the Colombian flag. The letters PA express simple unity and are triangular, which indicate that family is the essence of it all. Everything added up, Plan Angel wants to reflect clarity and clearness.
PERSONAL AMBITION
Plan Angel wants to help to people who have a multitude of questions. Plan Angel wants to create a place where everyone, regardless of nationality, can go to for help.
VISION
Plan Angel starts by offering help to people in emergency situations in certain places abroad. In the medium-term and also the long term, Plan Angel wants to be active throughout the world.
MISSION
In this World, where so many chances have been created and where so many people live a good life, there are still many who are not yet able to benefit from these opportunities. Partly, because this group doesn't know where to go to for help, or because they have received the wrong help, or simply because they do not have the financial means to ask for help. Plan Angel wants to help everyone, regardless of their situation.
ADDED VALUE
Plan angel Works with people who have a lot of practical experience.
Therefore, Plan Angel is able to refer people with a question to the right person, so that they will be offered the specific help they need.
STRATEGY
By means of projects and carrying them through, it is possible to change things and offer the right help to people in the right way.. Each project has its own rank and file and personal network. In this way it is possible to reach both the people who need help and those who want to offer help on a massive scale. In each branch you have to deal with competition we regret that our competition cannot achieve the same goals. We hope to see our unique procedure build up as little competition as possible. Rather, Plan Angel would love to cooperate and join forces with parties who have the same goals.
ACTION PLAN
Drive is needed to turn Plan Angel into a powerful organisation. We do this by via a board of three people, who have the final responsibility. Next to that, volunteers may have their own say on Plan Angel's policy. They are able to vote when projects are executed. After a trial period of six months, volunteers can subscribe at the Chamber of Commerce and connect to Plan Angel. This way we can keep one another up-to-date in commitments and plans.
Projects under Plan Angel do stand out on their own. For instance, Adoption Angels Network will still be under Marcia's ownership as part of Plan Angel. As soon as someone wants to connect his or her project to Plan Angel, then he or she is able to make us of its facilities. Just think of finances, manpower and exchanging experiences and ideas. Since a project is independent in Plan Angel, Plan Angel doesn't collapse should it fail. When someone eventually decides to not cooperate with Plan angel after all, that doesn't give any problems.
There are organisations Plan Angel does not cooperate with. This doesn't mean that there will be no communication between the two parties. Plan Angel only wants to work with people and organisations which follow the same purpose as Plan Angel. Plan Angel doesn't take part in negative discussions. Mutual respect is the basis of every area within Plan Angel.
Plan Angel has a lot of contact persons inside and outside of the country. These contact persons may vote with regards to Plan Angel or about a certain project in Plan Angel. Lastly, Plan Angel has a main group of volunteers. They offer their services independently. Sometimes for free, sometimes for a low rate.
Anyone is more than welcome to help. All help is much appreciated.
ACCESSIBILITY
Plan Angel wants to be accessible at all times. It wants to be open to anyone who wants information. Plan Angel announces its personal opinion in public. It wants to live up to its role as a supporter of human rights. All other opinions are personal ones. Plan Angel likes to keep itself busy with no-nonsense results-driven projects.
