SMILE

SMILE stands for Mind Spirit Intuition Lifetime Education and is a project with a major activity. SMILE is aimed primarily at informing children about important and often sensitive issues. The basis of the information, and is based on the rights of the child. To protect better the rights of children to protect better the United Nations and UNICEF on 20 November 1989 in the General Assembly of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child was adopted. The Convention has now 191 of the 193 signatory countries of the world. By signing oblige the authorities of the countries that have signed the treaty, agreed to protect the rights of children up to 18 years in their country. Governments must give children the opportunity to think and to talk about things that the children in the country of interest. All countries that have signed the treaty every five years to report to a special committee in Geneva.

The official Convention on the Rights of the Child consists of fifty-four articles. SMILE has decided on the basis of these articles to create teaching materials for primary schools. The lessons are designed with children in our own country in a fun, playful and educational way to become acquainted with the rights of the child. Certain topics are still seen as taboo in the teaching materials are discussed. This with the goal of bringing a simple, clear and informative way taboo for these children to break and discuss the subjects to make more reliable. SMILE hopes the children after the treatment course could form a better understanding of the rights of the child and in daily life is also something to recognize and to learn in a positive way to go. Therefore, the themes during the classes in a positive, constructive and forward looking manner.

In today's society, where for many people a lot of chances created and where many people do well, there is still a huge group of kids that leave less opportunities. Advantaged children often have not learned how to deal with these situations. SMILE therefore wants a social added value. The added value should primarily lie in the fact that SMILE works with people who have great experience and know how taboo subjects in a class should be treated. The use of very experienced people, SMILE is also able to seek help children directly to the proper authorities by reference.

SMILE want by running education a signal to promote awareness among many children. Due to changes in the mentality is encouraged that children cope better with highly sensitive matters.
